About Us
Husband and wife owners of the company Mike and Lorraine Jeffcoat make a great team. And they bring a wealth of experience to Mercury Pots. While looking around for a business that would allow them to work together and utilise their individual strengths, they discovered Mercury Pots and quickly determined it was a great business with further potential. They became owners of the company in 2007.
Since then they've been busy setting up a new warehouse in Papakura and expanding their team to include a couple of top-notch customer representatives. Mike and Lorraine thoroughly enjoy being part of Mercury Pots - whether they are knee-deep in pots at the warehouse or taking off to Italy to review the latest range, their days are busy and fulfilling.
Mercury Pots' People:
| Mike Jeffcoat Procurer of Pots ![]() | Mike enjoyed an exciting career in the finance sector before purchasing Mercury Pots. This business is quite different but he has always had a keen interest in gardening and was delighted to find a business where he could indulge his passion. His hands-on approach works extremely well - he's the marketing man, regularly supervises staff in the warehouse and also calls on a number of clients in the North Island. Mike says there's no better way to get to know your customers and stay in touch with the market. |

![]() | Lorraine Jeffcoat There's not much about customer service that Lorraine doesn't know. Over the years she has developed an impressive array of customer service skills. She's fast, efficient and has an eye for detail. If the odd hiccup occurs, you will find she deals with it with great urgency and without any fuss. She's a great believer that wherever possible, you should seize the opportunity to exceed customer expectations. Lorraine is an avid gardener and always keen to join Mike on visits to customers where she enjoys chatting about the gardening business. |
